In the Spring of 2012 the congregations of the Belmont United Methodist Church in Belmont and St. John’s United Methodist Church in Watertown voted to join forces and form a new congregation.

The resulting Belmont-Watertown UMC operates from both sites with worship services at 421 Common Street in Belmont, and recovery and other services continuing at 80 Mount Auburn Street on Watertown.
